Mission Eye Care is Calgary's destination for eye care and unique eyewear, centrally located in the Holy Cross Centre in Mission. We are a full-service optometry clinic with a focus on dry eye treatment, myopia control, and custom contact lenses for corneal disease. Our state-of-the-art 5500 sq ft clinic features a large gallery with over 1500 frames and sunglasses. With 5 highly trained optometrists, we offer expert care and convenient evening and weekend hours. We are committed to the latest technology and continually updating our practice based on current research.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Reception Manager located in Calgary, AB. The Reception Manager will be responsible for overseeing receptionist duties, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service. Daily tasks include managing the front desk, coordinating appointments, and maintaining organization within the reception area. The Reception Manager will also handle communication with patients and other team members to ensure a smooth operation.

Qualifications

  • Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Receptionist Duties and Organization Skills
  • Ability to manage a multi-line phone system
  • Experience in an optometry or healthcare setting is a plus
  • Proficiency with office software and scheduling systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are beneficial
